Established in 1925, Acacia Park Cemetery sits 350 feet above the Mississippi Rivers, just south of the Mendota Bridge across from historic Fort Snelling. Its majestic aura continues to impress visitors with a 1930sstone Chapel, 40-foot steel Belltower, and 23 Sections of property named after trees that decorate the Park's rolling terrain.
The Audubon Society recognized Acacia Park for its bird sanctuary, which attracts thousands of birds each year, including bright red Cardinals who are especially splendid against the white and evergreen blanket of winter. The Cemetery is also home to deer, wild turkeys, fox, and albino squirrels.
Each grave is priced at $1,350; selling all six together is preferred. Please note: 20% of the sales price will be deposited into the Permanent Care Trust Fund, as required by the state of Minnesota.
